In this unrialized project in Colonia Americana where the poetics of space emerge through the interplay of materiality, light, and scale. Its volumetric composition responds to a meticulous reading of its context, reinterpreting traditional typologies through a tectonic syntax that weaves together brick, steel, and glass. The rhythmic articulation of its facades creates a dynamic interplay between solids and voids, orchestrating a cadence of transparency and opacity where light and shadow become active agents in shaping the spatial experience.

From an urban perspective, the building does not impose itself but rather engages in dialogue with the historic fabric of Colonia Americana, respecting the surrounding heights and densities. Human scale is prioritized through a permeable plinth, where the thresholds between public and private dissolve into a sequence of transitional spaces. This programmed base houses commercial and cultural functions that revitalize the urban tissue, fostering a new focal point of activity within the city.

At the spatial level, the architecture unfolds through a sequence of experiences that oscillate between monumentality and intimacy. The residential units are oriented to maximize cross-ventilation and optimal solar exposure, while the common areas—such as landscaped terraces and contemplative spaces—form an architectural ecosystem that promotes sustainable living. Water, vegetation, and the warmth of materiality establish an inhabitable landscape where the memory of place is reimagined, endowing the project with a spatial poetry that transcends mere function and inhabitation.
